Back to School HOA party

The public schools here start fairly early and on a weird day. The first day of school here was on friday so that evening our HOA put on a party down at the pool. They had a sno-cone truck where you could buy sno-cones.

They also had a water bouncy slide. Claire wanted to go down it but it was surrounded by mud and she didn't like the feeling on her toes. I also think the kids were playing pretty rough on it so I think it was too much for her. I think next year we will be good with this stuff. (Hopefully.)

Here Chris is pulling the kids on the walk home (Thank you Oma!). This is one of the walking trails we take down to the pool. There is a creek on the right side which is pretty dry right now. The HOA also sent out a thing to make sure kids do not play down there. I guess there are a ton of black widow spiders around the creek so we stick to the trail. I haven't seen one while walking at all and we use this trail about every other day.
